The condition in which we find the Church, the Body of Christ today is disturbing. The bible clearly says that Christians are to be in the world but not of the world.
We are living in the last days and the Church needs to be ready for the return of the Lord. The principles that rule and govern this world have no place in the Church of Christ: debauchery, unbelief, idolatry, covetousness…
The Church needs to be reformed; the saints of God need to reclaim their rightful place, offerings should flow from a cheerful and loving heart and should no longer be made a requirement like the Tithe was under the Old Covenant.
The Lord Jesus Christ is coming back for a glorious Church. Ephesians 5:27 says: “that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish”.
The only churches that will experience the glory of God are those that will return to the purity of the Word of God, those that will cleanse and purify themselves from all filthiness (Hebrews 12:14)
Our churches are far from being ready for the return of the Lord. Sin and human traditions should have no place in our congregations.
The reform of the Church is essential if we want to see the Gospel reach the ends of the earth. Once the Church is reformed, she will influence the world instead of being influenced by it.
